Mystery Tour

Tuesday 17th May 2011

This first call for the minibus was the Horseshoes in Nuneaton, for its Official Opening. This is now part of Everard's Project William and is being run by Bob Yates & Mike Walsh from Tunnel Brewery. The opening was performed by Richard Everard (Chairman) and there were responses from both Bob & Mike . After sampling the contents of some of the 10 handpumps on the bar, it was soon time to move on.

Our next call was; The Pig In Muck at Claybrooke and finding Greene King IPA at £2-90,
Pedigree at £3-10 and Old Hooky and Timothy Taylors Landlord at £3-20.
The Hook Norton took a bit of a bashing!
Our final port of call was the Sharnford Arms where to be quite honest the beer
was not on top form. Quite disappointing as this pub is one of my favorites and the
ales are usually good (taste). The ales on sale were Greene King IPA, Abbot, Black Sheep,
along with Bass and Directors all at £3-10.
Our thanks to Jane and Steve of the Sharnford arms for the supper and of course all
the people who made it a memorable evening.
Cheers
Chris
