Bull's Head, Stoney Stanton re-opens

The Bull's Head has re-opened as a free house after a complete refurbishment. There are six handpumps in each bar offering four permanent beers: Castle Rock Harvest Pale; Adnams Bitter; Wells Bombardier and Church End Grave Diggers Mild. The two guests at present are: Timothy Taylor Landlord and Blue Monkey Original. It is owned by Keith and John, who also own the Red Lion at Kegworth. Bev will be the manageress assisted by Philippa. At last the Bull again has the feel and atmosphere of a 'proper pub' - we wish them well with their new venture.
