Morgan's Midsummer Melange

Wednesday 11th June 2008

An excellent evening was arranged by Chris James, landlord of the Windmill, Brascote & also a CAMRA member. Simon Morgan, a local chef of note, was engaged to provide the food. Bob Yates and Mike Walsh from the Tunnel Brewery Warwickshire, provided the beers to accompany the food, as did Burbage Wines for the wine. There was a choice of a beer or a wine with each of the four courses, plus an aperitif & an after dinner drink. Over 90 guests sat down to enjoy the meal & drinks, including about twenty members & wives from H&B branch.

The whole evening was exceptionally well received with entertaining snippets from Bob & Mike & all was kept in order by Chris; at the end Simon Morgan & his assistants were loudly applauded.

H&B CAMRA would like to thank Chris, Bob, Mike, Simon, his assistants & all the staff for a memorable evening.
