The 1st Stoke Golding Beer Festival was held at the White Swan from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th May 2006

Members were in attendance at various times. The Thursday 'Meet the Brewer' was particularly successful, giving those who attended an informative and entertaining evening as well as sample tastings and a buffet supper.

There were numerous beers available in the bar, plus more in the marquee on the lawn.

Hopefully, this event will become an annual fixture in the village.

Barrels in the marquee awaiting the rush.		An apparition appears at the bar, much to the alarm of the staff. I am told it appeared each day of the festival. The apparition is believed to have 'exorcised' itself by getting married soon afterwards!
