H & B Beer Festivals
We currently run two festivals per year, the Hinckley CAMRA Beer Festival & the Market Bosworth Rail Ale Festival.
Market Bosworth Rail Ale Festival 2016 will be from 22nd - 24th July
Run in conjunction with the Battlefield Preserved Railway
The Goods Shed, Station Road, Mkt Bosworth CV13 0PF
70 real ales on the trains and in the Goods Shed
+ Ciders, Perries & Fruit Wines. Pimm’s Bar. Dr Busker Fri & Sat evenings.
Numerous steam road engines, vintage vehicles, fairground organ, brake van rides pulled by Teddy (Rev. Boston’s engine), vintage cycles, Sunday Morning Service to commemorate 30 years since the passing of Teddy Boston.
Morris Dancers on Sunday afternoon.
Regular steam and diesel trains between Shackerstone, Mkt. Bosworth and Shenton.
Admission to site £5pp (Friday £1pp until 6pm) - CAMRA members Free at all times
Bars open from 11am to 11pm Fri & Sat; 11am to 6pm Sun.
Free minibus to and from Hinckley (must book, contact Robin on 01455 633660 or by e-mail)
Free Parking at Mkt. Bosworth and Shackerstone stations
Camping & Caravanning on site (£12/night)
Soft Drinks, Hot & Cold cobs, Cornish Pasties, Pork Pies, Merry Berry Chocolates, Piper's Crisps, Cheese Toasties.
It can now be confirmed that there will be a noticeable improvement this year to the Toilet facilities! They are being sourced from a different company and will be flush toilets in purposely constructed trailers, with electric lights.
Champion Beer of the Festival was Blue Monkey's Chocolate Guerrilla, a 4.9% A.B.V. Stout with Sperrin's Nice Rub Down, 4.2% A.B.V. Best Bitter a close second.
The 9th Hinckley CAMRA Beer Festival will held from 15-17 September 2016
