Sponsor a Cask

open to businesses & individuals

As I am sure you will realise we are all having a difficult time at present and pleas for sponsorship must appear at an all too frequent rate. We have usually asked businesses to sponsor something of significance to the festival, (e.g. glasses) but this usually entails a payment of at least £200. Not surprisingly there has been significant resistance this year (although we have had some successes).

With all this in mind we have decided to try a different approach.

This year we are offering local businesses and individuals the opportunity to become involved in our “Sponsor a Cask” scheme.

For just £20 the Sponsor’s name or logo will be prominently displayed on one of the casks of ale (see sample below) together with sponsorship acknowledgement and a message from the sponsor (up to ten words) in the Festival Programme. This message can be used as advertising or whatever else, within reason!

Last year we had over 1200 visitors to the Festival so there is opportunity for businesses to reach a substantial number of local customers.

There will be 60 casks of beer available for sponsorship which will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
